[ Renji didn't understand how Keigo could place so much value on his mere presence. He couldn't imagine that their stupid conversations or calling his name was enough to satisfy him. There had to be more than that, but he couldn't think of what it could be. He was stuck here as much as Keigo was, was as subject to the whims of the station, was more weak and vulnerable than he had been in a very long time. Keigo might feel safer around him, but they both must know that he's powerless to do anything to stop this from happening to him again if it did.
